1. Introduction

Welcome to Tuition1, an online teacher discovery and registration platform developed by Sprylon Private Limited. These Terms & Conditions govern access to and use of the Tuition1 website and its services.

By accessing or using Tuition1, you agree to comply with these terms and applicable laws. If you do not agree with these terms, please discontinue use of the platform.

2. Nature of Our Services

Tuition1 provides an online platform where teachers can register and present their teaching qualifications, experience, subjects, skills, preferred teaching modes, and expected fees.

Students and parents can discover teacher profiles and contact teachers to discuss their learning requirements.

Tuition1 acts as a discovery and connection platform. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Tuition1 does not directly provide the tuition classes advertised by independent teachers.

3. Teacher Registration

Teachers must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering on Tuition1.

Registration details may include name, mobile number, email address, qualifications, teaching experience, location, subjects, skills, languages, teaching preferences, expected fees, and an optional profile photograph.

Teachers are responsible for keeping their information accurate and for ensuring that they have the right to submit any photographs or other content included in their profiles.

4. Registration Plans and Fees

Tuition1 may offer paid teacher registration plans with different features and pricing. The applicable plan price and benefits will be displayed on the website before payment.

The Basic teacher registration plan is priced at ₹99 for one year. Additional plans, including Premium, may be introduced or made available separately with their own displayed pricing and benefits.

Any applicable taxes or additional charges will be disclosed during the registration or payment process.

5. Plan Validity

Paid teacher registration plans are valid for one year from the date of successful payment confirmation, unless a different validity period is expressly specified for the selected plan.

Expiry of a paid plan may affect the visibility or availability of associated registration benefits. Renewal, where available, may require a new payment.

6. Profile Review and Approval

Teacher profiles are subject to review and approval by Tuition1 before publication.

Tuition1 may request corrections or additional information and may reject, suspend, deactivate, or remove profiles that contain misleading, inappropriate, unlawful, or otherwise non-compliant information.

Successful payment does not guarantee automatic or immediate profile approval. If Tuition1 is unable to provide a purchased service, the matter will be handled under our Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable law.

7. Teacher Responsibilities

Teachers are responsible for the accuracy of their qualifications, experience, teaching capabilities, fees, availability, and other profile information.

Teachers must communicate professionally with students and parents, respect privacy, and comply with applicable laws.

Teachers must not impersonate another person, submit false qualifications, publish misleading information, or use the platform for fraudulent or unlawful activities.

8. Students and Parents

Students and parents should independently evaluate teachers and confirm qualifications, suitability, teaching arrangements, schedules, fees, and other relevant details before engaging their services.

Parents or guardians should supervise arrangements involving minors and take appropriate precautions when communicating with or meeting teachers.

Tuition1 does not guarantee the accuracy of every statement made by an independent teacher or the outcome of any tuition arrangement.

9. Tuition Fees and Arrangements

Unless expressly stated otherwise, tuition fees, class schedules, teaching locations, cancellation of individual classes, and other learning arrangements are discussed and agreed upon directly between teachers and students or their parents.

Tuition1 is not automatically a party to agreements independently entered into between teachers and students or parents.

10. Payments

Payments for paid registration services may be processed through third-party payment providers, including Razorpay when enabled.

A registration payment is considered confirmed only after successful payment verification through the applicable payment system.

Users should not share OTPs, banking passwords, or sensitive payment credentials with teachers or other users.

11. Cancellation and Refunds

Paid teacher registrations are generally non-cancellable and non-refundable after successful payment and availability of the purchased service.

Exceptions may apply in cases of duplicate charges, payment errors, failure to provide the purchased service, or where a refund is required by applicable law.

12. No Guarantee of Student Enquiries

Registering as a teacher or purchasing a paid plan does not guarantee student enquiries, teaching assignments, tuition bookings, income, or a particular number of profile views.

Results may depend on student demand, teacher qualifications, location, subjects, availability, and other factors beyond Tuition1's control.

13. Prohibited Activities

Users must not misuse the website, submit fraudulent information, harass others, attempt unauthorized access, distribute malicious software, or use the platform for activities that violate applicable law.

Tuition1 may restrict access or take appropriate action where misuse is identified.

14. Intellectual Property

The Tuition1 name, website design, original content, and other platform materials belong to their respective owners and may not be copied or commercially exploited without authorization.

Users retain rights in content they lawfully own while granting Tuition1 the permissions reasonably necessary to display and operate submitted profiles and related platform services.

15. Privacy

Personal information submitted through Tuition1 is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.

Teachers acknowledge that approved profile information may be visible to potential students and parents through the website.

16. Service Availability

We aim to maintain a reliable website but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, technical issues, third-party service failures, or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

17. Limitation of Responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Tuition1 is not responsible for independent agreements, representations, or disputes between teachers and students or parents.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

18. Changes to Terms

Tuition1 may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in its services, policies, or legal requirements. Updated terms will be published on this page.

19. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the applicable laws of India. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in Kerala, India, subject to applicable consumer protection and other mandatory legal provisions.
